How To Prevent Infectious Diseases

        Nowadays, there are many types of infectious diseases that can harm our health. Some examples of the types of the microorganisms are viruses, bacteria, fungi and protists. These microorganisms can bring many harmful effects to us and one of the effects is the spreading of infectious diseases. These diseases can cause a lot of health problems, for instances, the low protection of body system and a person becomes illness. Some of them can even cause death to a person.

        These infectious diseases can be spread out through different types of transmission methods and one of the methods is through airborne diseases which can be spread out by sneezing or coughing. When a person who is infected with airborne diseases sneezing or coughing, the harmful particles will be given out into the air. When another person inhales the air which contains the harmful particles, these particles will be taken into the lungs through nose and this, this causes the person to be infected with the diseases.

        Another transmission method is by drinking contaminated water sources. When people drink the contaminated water which contains viruses and bacteria, the viruses and bacteria will go inside their body system and they will face with health problems if they do not have the resistance. Moreover, food with improper handling ca also cause the spread of the infectious diseases. For example, people eat at the dirty stalls or take in food that without covered. These food are exposed to the bacteria or viruses that bring by flies, cockroaches or mouse and this can cause many diseases to their health.

        Furthermore, the diseases can be spread out through physical contact, for instance, sharing of personal belongings like toothbrush. This can cause the bacteria in the toothbrush of one person to be transferred into another person's body and hence, causing the spread of the bacteria. In addition, the vectors like houseflies and mosquitoes can bring a lot of bacteria and viruses to human being when they take in the food that has been polluted by the flies or being stung by Aedes mosquitoes.

        Infectious diseases can be prevented through different types of methods. Taking good care of personal hygiene is one of the alternative method that we can do. People should avoid sharing of personal belongings like toothbrush in order to prevent the transfer of bacteria and viruses to people staying around them.

        Another way to prevent infectious diseases is by controlling of vectors like biological controls. This is the method that used to decrease the diseases by reducing the levels of transmission of flies and mosquitoes. The environment surrounding the houses should always be cleaned so that there is no place for flies and mosquitoes to live. The mosquitoes can cause Malaria to people and the symptoms of a people who is affected with Malaria are such as high fever, headache, vomiting and muscle pain.

        In addition, immunisation can be done to people in order to boost resistance inside their body system to fight over the infectious diseases. Besides, government should always held healthy campaigns to increase the knowledge and awareness of people regarding the infectious diseases and the ways to prevent them. Through this method, people will be more able to prevent these diseases.

        Infectious diseases are very harmful to our health and they are dangerous. Hence, we should always make sure that we do prevention on these diseases so that we can have a good health and life.
